24 hr. Advanced Night Operations Oil Spill Strategies & Tactics

This 3-night course is designed to provide field training in developing oil spill response strategies and tactical operations. Class begins at 4:00 p.m. and adjourns at midnight.This course is designed to provide field training in developing oil spill response strategies and tactical operations in difficult environments. This course is primarily a "hands-on" course involving trailering and launching boats, deployment and recovery of floating oil spill containment booms, booming exercises, and equipment cleanup, maintenance, and storage. Appropriate personal safety equipment including personal flotation devices will also be used.
