24 hr. Advanced Operations Oil Spill Strategies & Tactics, Nov. 10, 11, 12 - 2026

This 3-day course is designed to provide field training (on the water) for oil spill response strategies and tactical operations.  It is primarily a "hands-on" course involving trailering and launching boats, deployment and recovery of floating oil spill containment booms, booming exercises, and equipment cleanup, maintenance, and storage. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including personal flotation devices will also be used.

This Advanced Course is designed to challenge the professional responder in difficult field training exercises applying oil spill response strategies and tactics.

Classes will be held at various locations around the Corpus Christi Bay, Laguna Madre, and the Gulf region. Clients may select a specific area depending on experience and challenge level.

Prerequisite: Profession responders only.
