ACTFL Exam

The ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview is a 20-30 minute telephone interview between an ACTFL Certified Tester and a candidate. The interview is interactive and adaptive to the experiences and linguistic competence of the candidate. Prior to starting the registration process, a candidate should consult with the Office of Academic Testing about the availability of testing times. A candidate will then submit a completed application to LTI at http://www.languagetesting.com/. (All candidates must request an ACE transcript be submitted to the Office of Recruitment and Admissions for consideration of college credit. Please be aware that the normal LTI rating turnaround time is from 2-4 weeks). On the day of the test, the candidate reports to Corpus Christi Hall, Room 124 and presents a form of personal identification; this must be a government-issued photo ID card that bears the student’s signature. The candidate will also be required to pay a $10 non-refundable administrative fee.
