24 hr. HAZWOPER 07/14-16/2025

This is a three day 24-hour in person class class that is designed to provide professional certification that meets the off-site training requirements for the U.S. OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) regulations as specified in 29 CFR 1910.120. Also qualifying students to support emergency response or hazardous waste management operations. It does not meet the standards required to wear PPE or enter “hot-zones”. The initial training covers safe site investigations, the identification of hazardous materials, typically hazards, proper selection of protective equipment, spill containment and clean-up, container selection, and the transport of spill residues and wastes. Students may want to take the additional 2-day HAZWOPER Field Exercise or, if the employer will allow during the Covid Pandemic, a 2-day Respiratory Protection and Site Management Module to achieve the OSHA requirements for 40-hours of HAZWOPER training. Cancellation Policy: The NSCS has a cancellation fee of 25%. If your company would like to transfer a course registration to another employee, there is no additional cost.
